KENDALL COUNTY, IL — August 4, 2026 — Fox Fiber announces its Board of Directors, the community leaders guiding the nonprofit organization established in conjunction with Kendall County to build and manage the Kendall County community fiber network.
The board — Keith Landovitz, Scott Koeppel, Meagan Briganti, Tim Tremain, and Paul Plofchan — unites expertise in local government, technology, manufacturing, economic development, and mapping and information systems. This team is dedicated to delivering a robust, affordable fiber network that meets the region's unique demands while supporting the interests of Kendall County's families, schools, and employers.
The board assembles leaders with strong ties to Kendall County and a shared stake in its future. As Chairman, Keith Landovitz draws upon 35 years of expertise as a software engineer and engineering manager working on commercial data processing systems. Scott Koeppel offers over 20 years of background in local government and technology and has deep roots in the region. Meagan Briganti, a Montgomery resident and Kendall County's Director of Mapping and Information Systems, contributes both professional credentials and firsthand knowledge of the neighborhoods the network will benefit. Tim Tremain, President of MTH Pumps, and Paul Plofchan of Pivot Tech round out the board with backgrounds in business, technology, and infrastructure initiatives.
“Between emerging technology, work from home, and remote schoolwork, access to high-quality, reasonably priced broadband is vital for everyone,” said Koeppel. “As someone with roots in this area, I understand the challenges and importance of high-quality internet in rural communities.”
Meagan Briganti highlighted the necessity of access to dependable connectivity. “Being a public servant is my dream career, and I love that I can expand my service to our rural communities,” Briganti said. “It is no different and no less important than everyone needing electricity to their homes.”
Tim Tremain emphasized that dependable connectivity is key to the county's future growth. “I believe Kendall County has great untapped potential, and I do not want the lack of broadband internet service to limit what our residents, educational institutions, or businesses can achieve,” Tremain said. “The people of Kendall County deserve more choices when it comes to affordable broadband internet service, and this project is designed to provide that.”
Kendall County's mix of growing neighborhoods and rural landscape makes reliable broadband both a challenge and a priority. The Fox Fiber Board is committed to ensuring the network is built to support the county's long-term needs — connecting residents, assisting local employers, and giving schools and public institutions the infrastructure they need to succeed.
